Now
homeowners can
enjoy recycling more materials, more conveniently with
Liberty’s exclusive Rollout Recycling Program.
Gone are the weekly backbreaking trips to the curb
lugging heavy newspapers, catalogs and glass bottles in
18-gallon “recycle bins”.
The
Future is here with our new “green-top” recycle rollcarts;
their large 65-gallon capacity means that recycling only needs
to be set out every-other-week which is better for the environment.
A calendar on the rollcart shows which weeks to roll
out your cart.

Nearly
half of the Billion
Tons of garbage Americans produce every year
can be recycled, and here in Georgia, Liberty Disposal customers are really “pitching in” for
a number of good reasons:
1) Recycling
reduces our dependence on foreign oil because the
energy used to
recycle is far less than making the same
products from raw
materials, and many of
the raw materials are
petrochemicals
derived directly from imported oil.
2)
All major religious groups now agree that responsible
stewardship of
the earth
we have been given is a matter of
personal
responsibility and faith.
3) Many raw materials are not
infinite, and conserving a portion of
those materials
for future American generations is both just
and
patriotic. |

Everyone at
Liberty Disposal congratulates
you for doing your part!
Over three times as
many Liberty
customers recycle than customers of any other hauler in Georgia! |
|
Your
materials will be collected by a separate Liberty truck that looks like a garbage truck, but
is not, it only picks up recycling.
These materials are taken from your home by our
recycling truck and go to a huge Materials Recovery Facility
in Forest Park,
Georgia
where they are separated, baled, and sent out for reuse.
Liberty Disposal does not mix recyclables with garbage.
Only Liberty guarantees that!
Be sure to roll out your recycle cart by
6am, or the night before your pickup date.
Place the cart at the curb away from other carts, cars,
and mailboxes.

RECYCLING GUIDELINES
Newspaper
Newspaper is widely available and that makes it valuable to
paper companies. Please
make sure that it is dry, clean and uncontaminated.
If it is raining on your pick up day, and you do not have a
Recycle Rollcart to keep the newspaper dry, please cover with a
plastic bag or wait until the next scheduled pick up day.
We also accept Phone Books, Junk Mail, Office Paper,
Magazines, etc.
Cardboard
We must
ask that the cardboard be broken down and folded flat.
Tape may remain on the boxes.
Contaminated cardboard, like greasy pizza boxes, is not
acceptable; place these items in the trash cart for removal.
We do accept cereal boxes, trash bag boxes, etc., also known
as paperboard or chipboard.
Glass
Containers
As you know we are one of the few garbage haulers
offering to recycle glass containers. We will accept all clear, brown
and green
glass containers. Labels may remain
on.
All
glass containers must be cleanly rinsed out.
Plastic
Containers
NEW!!!
We now accept plastic bags!
All plastic containers that can be recycled
should be marked with a clearly visible recycling symbol and
code on the bottom of each container.
We
accept containers marked with the #1, #2,
#3, #4, #5, #6 and #7.
If you are unsure of it, just place in bin and the recycle
facility will either recycle it or toss it.
All
plastic containers must be cleanly rinsed out.
Tin
& Aluminum
It is not necessary
to remove labeling from cans. Just rinse out to prevent odor.
